Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a great location close to the city center and Salamanca, and very near to the HOBART CBD. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were quite dirty with dust and small bits of rubbish on the floor, but the family room was spacious. The dining experience in the morning was disappointing with limited toast options, and the food quality was inconsistent.
Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience. The rooms were excellent for a family of 5, within walking distance to the city center, wharf area, and parks. All the staff were amazing, so friendly, and I could not fault the accommodation at all. Meals available were very yum and excellent value for money. The pool tables and pokies added to the fun. The kitchen next to the hotel was convenient, and the rooms were nice, equipped with towels, toiletries, and tea/coffee. Overall, a comfortable stay with great amenities.
The hotel offers comfortable and quiet rooms, excellent value for money, despite some noise from guests outside on weekends. The location is excellent for exploring Hobart, but parking can be challenging. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff providing great budget-conscious accommodation at the heart of the city. Dining options are satisfactory, with a quick and convenient breakfast choice. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a central location with good amenities.
The hotel is situated in a good, quiet place, offering a range of beer and a nice selection of food. The rooms had a bad smell and the bed was not very comfortable or suitable for tall individuals, but they were clean. The service was friendly, helpful, and proficient at multitasking. The location is excellent for exploring Batterypoint, Salamanca, the waterfront, and shops. The dining experience provided good choices included in the price. The family room was spacious, and the hotel is within walking distance of key attractions.
When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms despite the initial cigarette smoke smell that lingered even with the windows open. This place feels more like a pub or bar with rooms, which didn't really help much with the odor issue. The service was top-notch - warm welcome and better care than some expensive places I've stayed at. The location is prime, within walking distance of key spots like the harbour, markets, and Salamanca Square. The dining experience was wonderful, especially with friendly staff and a morning spread that includes fresh coffee. However, the facilities could do with an upgrade and were somewhat limited during my stay.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, close to major attractions and with helpful and efficient staff. The rooms, though small, are comfortable and well-equipped, and the common toilet is consistently cleaned. The dining options are basic but adequate, serving satisfying meals. However, the service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable.
The hotel is in a lively area downtown, perfect for exploring the harbor, markets, and Salamanca Square. The rooms, though a bit cramped and outdated, surprisingly offered a quiet stay despite the bustling bar downstairs. The car park can be tight for larger vehicles but ideal for smaller cars.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, walking distance to all the main attractions. The rooms were excellent, perfect for my family of five, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The meals available were delicious and great value for money. The hotel also offers pool tables and pokies for entertainment, which was a nice touch. The private bathroom was a definite plus.
The hotel was excellent for a family of 5, within walking distance to the city center and all attractions. All the staff were amazing, very friendly. The meals offered were delicious and great value for money. However, the rooms were a bit dated, facing the road, and noisy when sleeping. The price was a bit expensive for what was provided.
The hotel's rooms were basic but clean, had everything we needed, but the floor was very noisy when walking, and the bed was small and not very comfortable. The service was helpful and extremely nice. The location was excellent for exploring the town center and waterfront, within walking distance of key attractions. The dining options were simple and basic. Overall, good value for the money.
